Think people have reservations and until these answers in place the referendum result will not be as high.

At least the turnout shows that apathy doesn't rule about this proposal - unless half of them were there just to see Vic kick off.

VIC was a minor part of the entertainment
watching the panel struggle with the answers at times was amusing.
but yep it was a good turn out and that shouldn't be knocked, but there were a number of non voters and spies lol

I had warned Nick Carmichael that Vic was planning a stunt about the port going bankrupt so the panel were ready for him. I also asked Nick to keep his presentation as jargon-free as possible but he did resort to jargon during some of his answers, which may have given some people the idea he was being evasive.

I'm pleased you have such influence over the panel, but believe me those questions for whatever reason remained unanswered, and that's fine, but it will affect i'm sure the turnout/result.
it's a minefield ahead, and VIC is a minor part of decisions that need to be made

The answers to most of those questions will not be known until we have had a detailed look at DHB's books as part of the due diligence process.

Not until after the government accepts our bid, which is subject to due diligence.

so there is a possibility that ddpt could be the government choice, then dppt look at the books and decide it is not viable.

Yes Keith and Neil explained the current ownership situation last night in response to a question. It is held by DHB in trust for the nation i.e. The Treasury.
