I did not get there till about midday,But the lady was there ,I expect she went for a cupper or somthing. At this time we are not working to a time table.I will again be down there later in the week,I always post on here when I will be there.Richard is working on a time table for the summer weeks, but that is not easy when like myself can not tell him when I can make it.

Most places that are manned by volunteers have a rota when people are on and opening times are displayed, more business like and sensible that way.
Vic, there is nothing that special about volunteering it is what a great number of us oldies do all the time.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Some of us 'young(er)' ones put in an immense about of voluntary time on the Heights, but don't feel the need to tell everyone all the time !!

Paul again I do not know where you are coming from on that one.
Again I have already said a time table is being done at this time ready from Easter onwards.

Paul you are right, you do a lot for the town, specially the White Cliffs etc. And Jan you are right too, a lot of oaps do a lot of unpaid voluntary work behind the scenes and we all apreciate their work. There is nothing worse than people who profess to do things for love not money but carp on about it to get patted on the head.
Well I say good on you Paul and Jan - and all of those who work in a quiet and humble way without asking for praise. What does it say in the bible - blessed are the meek ...........

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".
