There are lots of laws one doesn't agree with but that's no excuse for breaking them.

what i found fascinating was that dave's mate listed his main interests other than fox hunting as "stalking in scotland" and "hunting mink in ireland".
i wonder if he has any normal hobbies like most people or just gets off with killing things for pleasure?

hunting has always been around because people need to eat, to compare an african tribe that has to hunt to survive with a bunch of people with a pack of dogs chasing something for pure sadistic pleasure is ludicrous.

If we are worried about cruelty to animals we should look at the result of a fox getting into a henhouse

you may be deliberately missing the point, whether tribes use dogs is irrelevat.
they and their families eat the kill.

howard,i get the point that you and kieth are making.but fox, badger, hare and rabbit still more damage than the hounds do to afore mentiond.where as i personly wouldnt eat fox or badger nor would i puprosly go hunting for them, where as rabbit and hare have been eaten by most people at some time or other.
