BAZ;
I think this is just a publcity stunt, but within it gives the desperation post, that vic is now accepting that vic won't be winning seats.
going down on his last stand.
vic you know i have tried to advise you to put your wife/family first both personally and on here, and that day outside Morrison's I thought you had actualy seen the light in your telling me your standing down to spend time with your lovely wife, travelling the country.
Having announced this to the local media, and all around town, within 2 days you were back to wanting to stand in every seat.
Credibility wise i think if your going to stand you should concentrate on one seat, whether or not your trying to make a point on parish councill vacancies.
As you have saidon here you can't give elections time due to your health , and i hope you will put this first(but i'm doubtful on this)
So like baz says we will probably still be having this debate in 10 years time
Well I will tell you tomorrow night after I have been the to the D,D,C, the min/amount of seats I am going for, that might not be the full amount. But is this my last stand. I will not be telling where the seats are.
Today I made a cottage pie for our evening meal. Tomorrow I will tell you whether I sat in the kitchen to eat it,or at our circular 150yr old dining table, then again I may have sat in the parlour and ate my meal whilst sitting on the settee. Then again I may have eaten in all the places mentioned above but have decided not tell you where I ate it or how many seats I used. However this will be my last stand but I must stress that I did not nosh the pie standing.
I realise that this news is rivoting but I hope it will lead to me having my photo placed on the who's who section of the forum and in the Mercury and Dover Express. At this years Boxing Day dip I will enter the sea wearing my Tommy Cooper hat whilst doing the bottle glass trick and still eating my cottage pie.Until then I'll keep you guessing

Served with garden peas but I did cover the pie with strong grated mature cheddar cheese which formed a lovely crisp topping.

Jersey Royals now being sold prewashed for the first time £2.89p a pound. Trouble is the only slightly bigger than a gob stopper at present (Don't tell AlexD but they were all picked by migrant Polish workers)

There is an ancient Jersey law that states..." that if thee stand for election more than twice and find thyself rejected that the native islanders will kick thee up the 'arris and eject thee.." I may have changed the wording slightly..
Right who wants to know what we had for dessert?

Marek, if Vic stands and fights in May, he may get elected.
As for Poles working in Jersey, Marek, I fully believe you, many work in Kent too.
I think the majority are seasonal workers who are earning money for their family in Poland. For your information, I usually buy a Polish bloomer in Morrisons, when they have one available, although it is made in Dover by English maidens working at Morrisons.
Now I know this, Marek, I see them with my own eyes, every time I go there.
Upset no-one is interested in my sweet trolley which the wife states I am off (my trolley that is)
In good strong Vic tradition I shall keep asking the question until you are all bored stiff or until the cows come home (Jersey ones of course) I let them go for a pint and they still haven't come back..the cows said they were going down to the Old Bull in the Bush boozer.
