Jan, Jan, Jan...........a word from an old soldier here. We have all been here before: this is only the starter, the taster, the beginning. We will have a regular update of the non-intention, some provocative posts about maybe-maybe, and then a bit of a pause before the leaflets start again. Trust me. We love our Vic. You could set your watch by him.

That is what Gen Caster done,as he was pulled to the ground he was holding the Flag above his head, what is wrong in what I said.?
Flag(Piece of bunting or other stuff .attached by one edge to staff, used as standard, ensign.

Victor - General Custer was almost certainly not holding the ensign when he died and was probably not pulled from his horse - in fact the latest evidence suggests he was killed very early in the Battle of the Little Big Horn.
Ah well - Vic, I will believe what you say maybe in 10 years time or when you are buried six feet under, hopefully the latter being the later....
Thats me, in a pedantic mood tonight after a few beers and chat with Peter at Blakes....

A recent study showed that most of the US Calvary at the Battle of Little Big Horn topped themselves rather than being scalped and skinned alive by the voters ,sorry Vic Freudian slip, native americans so take heed.
