08:5687990This looks to me like its genuinely from Nigel Farage. I have seen the Junius website but have also seen other sites with a more balanced approach and the lady is currently a member of Mr Farage's team as far as I can ascertain. She emailed me directly, no attempt to hide who she is, so therefore I went ahead with it.
But there we are..we have to wait and see what happens from here.

10:0487997Nice one Vic, now let's see if we can get all the other party leaders on here. Anyone got Nick Griffin's number?

Have I got this right then, it's not Nigel Farage who's a member of Dover Forum but the UKIP Press Office?

11:3588013much the same thing i would have thought.
surely most part leaders have a press officer that does the nitty gritty with making statements even though it is the work of the leader.

15:0988030i see that lord tebbitt has joined forces with ukip in the forthcoming by-election.
he appears to think that the yellows are being given a free run by the blues which would give them an even stronger hand in the coalition.
he thinks (rightly in my view) that ukip could collect a lot of disillusioned yellow supporters.

15:3388034I agree with what you say Howard, and we saw that in Dover At the last By-election we pushed the yellows down into last place, and stoped the blues geting a county seat, yet we see the reds still having ago at myself in Dover,as you said before they should be saying well done Vic keep going at them,But We still want to win seats and that is what we will be trying hard to do over the next weeks. Thank You.

23:4788109i sometimes wonder about the local reds vic.
they seem to have lost the plot and are quiet happy to rubbish you and your party and give the blues a free ride.

23:5688111Still wrong Howard the Labour Party will fight who ever stands,we do not rubbish UKIP we disagree with them the same as the Tories Libs BNP Greens in most instances. If you are suggesting we should take it easy on UKIP because they will take votes off the Tories, well we won't.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

01:1088113john you are correct
every party is fought by labour in the eletions
im not convinced the votess vic took was enough to keep the tories out.
i think it people had enough of the co olition
and the tory candiidate was unknown

08:4588125I'm not going to pass comment about the Conservative Candidate, he's a good decent chap, but I will say as Vic has said, UKIP voters gave the County seat to Labour, no argument or doubt there.
The major parties need to listen to what the people want otherwise more and more of them will vote for the minor/fringe parties who make noises they like/want/need to hear.

10:4688137fully agree roger. the big two have lost touch with the electorate.
failure to engage with their traditional support can only mean more support for the minor parties.

19:4088253had the unknowmn tory candidate won then we wouldnt be having these nonsense posts.
ok so ukip took votes from all 3 parties probably more from the lib dems
but that doesnt move away from gordon cowan who fought a good campaign
and maybe thats why he got more votes than the others.
but be in no doubt i know no one will be under estimated, but in the big world ukip will also be targetted like all other parties

20:0288266i must admit i am at a loss why an establishment party like the reds are so frightened of a fringe party like ukip.
the yellows take a lot of votes from them as do the british national party, surely they should be targeted?

21:2788287Keith, my dedication to Dover is conditioned only to Dover, and to no political party! UKIP is the best on offer for me as a national party, but again, nationwide, my allegiance is to Britain, and any party is subordinate in my ranking of conditions to this Allegiance.
