  I'd banned myself from the forum after the recent silliness over other bannings and the endless inane repition by one or two who ignore facts and make it impossible to have a decent discussion, but coming on for one last post before I disappear permanently.
  
  Vic, I know from being on Lydden council with you that you work hard but no-one can be effective on four parish councils at once, especially when some meet at exactly the same time - you can't be in two places at the same time. There's no malice in this post, just advice.
  
  It's a matter of public record on DDC website that you made no declaration of a political affiliation in your nomination papers for the parish council elections.
  
  However, you are on the UKIP South East Region website as one of their councillors with your contact details.
  
  You need to clear up the confusion by saying now if you are currently a UKIP member or not, or get yourself taken off their website. And you are just making yourself look silly by having a secret meeting that you are calling public, make it one or the other.
  
  Lastly, you need to think of your health before you are seduced by the thought of more elections.

  There is plenty of precedent for people to be elected or co-opted under one hat only to change later. Not a problem with me, as long as we know where we are.
