i seem to remember that this trough near the carpet shop in castle street was empty last spring and that the troughs in nearby market square had spring bulbs in.
all reversed this year.

Love the recent sets of spring pix,Howard the blossom ones are lovely, and John saw the very same Swans and lambs on Romney Marsh yesterday in the gorgeous sunshine.

Yes, today's front page photograph...
O cute little cutlet
all cosy and warm
in your gravy blanket
so sheltered and calm
Amidst mashed potatoes
and Rosemary, you steam
plucked from life's woes
(soon tummy-chummy with vanilla ice-cream)
O cute little cutlet
from whence did you spring
what generous bush let
the chef, you to me bring?
But, enough. For this fanciful
dream sequence must end
my belly is anything but full
so that way you must wend.
1,2,3...ahhh
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Jeane, the gulls decided that head-butting the pier was getting more and more painful, so they opted to form their Tommy Cooper Appreciation Society instead!

John's photo seems to contradict the article attached to the "Seagull Control" thread!

Love that one Howard, maybe wondering where Spring went!
One of your goldfinches was sat outside my window earlier but flew off as soon as it saw the camera.
