Again still cold I have got myself a weed burner it does burn the weeds out but takes a long time but I am told that the weeds do not come back,if that is true then I do not mind how long it takes, I do not like pulling them out it gets to my legs and I must sit down to pull them out so it is a wait and see if they come back.

Let us know whether it works Vic. If the results are longlasting I might get one myself. TIA

Garden looking OK sun out but my legs are not good in the cold or wind so find it hard to get out there when I would like to, lawns not looking bad need some patch work done, I have done it once will have to see if it has taken later in the year when the weather is hot. Good year for flowers .

Why is it so cold at this time of the year as I am up all night most nights Ihave the heating on but not high ,but this year it is higher because of the cold my wife tells me I feel cold more because I have to take Warfarin which thins the blood, any way the weather is very dry so I WATER THE GARDEN in the mornings , I know my posts are very boring to any that read them but because we do not go out like we did once and up many hrs I do not have much to say but need to do t because it helps pass the time yes I do the rug making and playing my Guitars badley I might say but getting better as time goes on,I still need to talk at times but I do not see my mates or family for over a year now and the wife does not stay awake all night

I talk to the cat but that ends up with him going out.

Some of my flowers are now dieing off so I cut the heads off and the tall ones I cut down which I think makes it better next year with a better head on them some have had up to four heads on this year never had four before.

Not long now Vic when we can meet up in doors with friends and family .I wish I was able to drive .Not been on a bus for the best part of the year .Like you I potter in the garden .Conversation s are short as the social interaction is missed.
In my younger days I could have decorated the house but unable to do that now.Sadly Several old friends have died .
Still everyone is rushing to the hair dressers .My hair will be cut tomorrow .Something to look forward to .Tesco delivery today .

After 37 years my 'bin day' has been changed from Monday to Friday. Now what's all that about?

We have not had the promised calendar, maybe DDC thought the two letters was enough paper wasted. Going by the DDC page we have changed so recycling yet again this week therefore our refuse not collected for three weeks, good thing we do not fill our bin every time, unlike some of my neighbours.
Just a thought maybe we should put both bins out and see which gets emptied...........if any.
