It was certainly mild enough today to give the lawn edges a tidy up and trim and give the clematis a haircut.

Very bright but frosty this morning. The primroses were certainly showing the effects of the frost but still worth sharing.
There are also a few small bluebells beginning to appear in the hedgerows which is somewhat earlier than usual probably due to the mild Winter.

I love the countryside picture Bob.
My Camellia is just starting to flower which I am sure is a bit earlier than normal.

This one?
Yesterday there were 2 youngsters, not observing social distancing!
Not very clear photo.

Re #328, #329. Most likely a moorhen; normally a number there. Not sure I've ever seen a coot up that way (perhaps too shallow?).

Taken on phone camera yesterday 08.10. I did not notice the solitary goose in flight until I downloaded the photo:
A nice sunny morning to tidy up the garden today. The tulips are early this year and some are beginning to look a little tired.

Just back from my morning walk with the dog. A little more colour in the countryside as the days progress.

Ah yes you look at the flagellum not between her legs!
Only 10 segments, 11 in the male the pollen sack can be hard to identify when empty.
