Those lovely bluebells really mean warmer weather is hopefully on the way.
Great to hear from you again Bob after all this time I was beginning to wonder if you were ok.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Yes, I’m fine thank you Jan except I find it difficult to continually walk on eggshells nowadays.

Seedlings doing well in the greenhouse Vic, but need to be covered overnight. I am gradually hardening off the larger plants and planted baskets during the day…..but back inside overnight!

The present fine weather is a bonus and gives me a chance to get out in the garden. I have planted most of the bedding plants out now but with the perennials growing apace they are fighting for room!
P.s. I have had daffodils in the garden since late January although those in the wheelbarrow are just about to finish now!

I never sniff at a freebie, so I laid some paving slabs yesterday on a bed of white sand from sacks which were found floating in the sea just off Brighton.
A bit miffed today though to find that they had turned into crazy paving! Still waiting for the dog to come down off the ceiling too!

After suffering a day of extremely high temperatures (outside thermometer registered 40 degrees C), some respite from watering this evening!
It’s been raging for about 45 minutes so far in my part of Sussex:
I note that both Dover and Folkestone harbour cams are still showing fine weather, so you may miss out!
