Jean is very weak - emotionally and physically and just wants the op.
To take place on Tuesday.
Poor girl is very distressed; we will have to be up here for many weeks,
possibly months.
If I can, I'll keep you (or Howatd) updated - especially as regards the operation

Jean had an operation on her neck to put some lines
in, so they could feed her liquid food, meds and painkillers
(aplenty).
She is looking forward (?) to having the operation tomorrow;
we all hope there is no further delay.
John (JHG) if Jean's op is considered a success, how could
we get a discounted ticket from Manchester to Dover Priory return ?
It would be just one ticket - for Jean's daughter Heather, who has
Come over from Majorca to spend time with her.

Just to let you know, Jean went to theatre just after 3pm (ish)
The operation can take between 2 and 10 hours snd they are going
To phone us straight after - I'll let you if it's good news.
Fingers crossed and we (all) hope and pray she'll be O.K.
