I've looked up and down the Forum, but can't find the turn out percentage for the locals.
Does anyone know?

It had not been given out by the time I left the count (around 6:00pm) but one estimate put it in the mid 30's %.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

The funniest bit or though it wasnt at the time is Tower Hamlets at Town Council.we were called forward and given this result, remember we had watched the votes being counted and we knew that we had a 600 Labour grouping,so we were surprised to here this result
Pam Brivio Lab 189
John Goodwin Lab 210
Dave Goymer All 277
Ronnie Philpott Lab 128
Graham Wanstall Ind 231
We questioned it and after 10 mins the returning officer returned and apologised and said that the ballot papers from one of the boxes hadnt been added although they had been counted but hadnt been included in the numbers we had got.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

It seems that the LibDems have become history.
I suppose one could suggest, as the trend is reflected nationwide, that the present Coalition Government has a coalition member (LibDems) that no longer represents the majority of people who voted for them.
The AV referendum result in favour of first past the post would also exclude any idea of a LibDem come-back through the back-door (or toilet window)
