now for a major one, a surprise to me the blues took the 2 yellow seats at whitfield.
considering the seeming anger of the villagers up there to blue plans for expansion, seems like the majority are ok for redevelopment.

Must say they seem very slow, or is it my imagination.

Perhaps they are more aware of Charlie's opposition to the development than the Tory council members' enthusiasm for it.

That is a major one Howard...as Clive Meredith has been in there for a long time and a well known figure about. The national animosity to the Libdems reaches even to the leafy glades of Whitfield. Wasnt Big Dave standing up there for the blues?

so why would they vote out the people that were campaigning against it?
seems odd to me.

Could be the majority of Whitfield residents do not care about the development either way so it did not factor in their decision on who to vote for.
