Our GP Consortium intend to place our patients, after critical treatment in Hospital in our
Residential care Homes to recuperate.
From personal experience this is not conducive to recovery,we need intermediary beds, step down
beds in our new ``hospital`.
The Monday 8.30 pm Panorama ``Elderly Care Condition``...critical...investigated death rate and
mistreatment in Britains Care System for our elderly.
This is evidence that Residential Care Homes are not suitable for our Patients to recuperate in
and they need specialist medical care.
Our Government is giving Patients new rights under a new NHS Care Charter.
Doctors and nurses are to be issued with eight "commandments of care" in a radical overhaul of
standards, to ensure they treat patients properly.
Patients will be told to kick up a fuss if the new minimum standards — to be displayed in every ward
and GP surgery — are ignored.
Hospitals will be taken over by outside experts, bosses will be sacked or units shut down if the new
charter of rights is consistently breached, the health inspectorate will warn.
Please write or email our GP Consortium to tell them tell them of the need of intermediary /
step down beds in our new `hospital`and refer them to the Governments New Patients Charter.
