Campaign over Vic?
Blimey there is an evening and a day left to get your vote out. But then as per the discussion on a separate subject you don't seem to be taking the election very seriously.

Barry nice to know that you are useing the UKIP Blog more than your own, this that because more of the public are loging into more what we are saying than the blues.I even had a blue voter come up to me today and said "VIC" I HAVE ALWAYS VOTED BLUE BUT THIS TIME ROUND IT IS UKIP". I SAID WHY IS THAT" and he said "Because it is you standing and you have been around a very long time and always trying to help Dover.I said thank you so much for that.

bit unfair barry.
vics campaigning team cannot be as large as the two main parties.
besides he is hobbling around and has still managed to hand deliver election literature in areas of dover that need someone with mountaineering experience.

you have just proved my point susan, how long has ukip been in business here in dover?
they must have less volunteers than your party.
neither left nor right, had 18 consecutive years of the right, then 13 years of the supposed left.
neither will get my vote.

In less than 1hour we will all be voting please again look at what UKIP is standing for before you vote. UKIP is saying By a withdrawal from the EU can benefit the UKright across the spectrum, from immigration to crime, tax, jobs, and the economy, pensions, pubic services, and even through to animal welfare and the post Offices.Few realise just how much the EUnow controls and interferes with our day-today lives, despite never having optained permission to do so from the British people.
As one of the two largest net contributors to the EU budget,Britain now gives £6.4billion a year in net cash contributions. This is due to rise to more than 10billion net a year with with the loss of our rebate.Including indirect costs such as red tape, the true cost of the EU to the UK is estimated at up to £120billion ayear.
UKIP IS THE ONLY PARTY DETERMINED TO BRING POWER AND CONTROL BACK TO WEASTMINSTER,and the British people.
UKIP will enable us to govern in the best interestof the UK.
It is the time for straight talking and UKIP are doing just that.
For the very last time for Great Britain and all our familys vote UKIP TODAY Thank you all. I remain yours faithfully Vic MATCHAM.

Nice try Vic, All credit to you for waging a vigorous campaign that many younger candidates would have struggled to maintain. I hope you don't lose your deposit.
Vic, with all due respect £6.4 billion is a lot less than the £9 billion that Gordon Brown has agreed as overseas aid for 2011.
It's also a damn sight cheaper than fighting our European neighbours which we've tried twice in the past 100 years!!

We did Bob and won both times. I also send you a email but you did not get back, anyway all the best it was nice to meet up with you in Deal hope it will happen again one day. VicM
So also Sid thank you for your post and that will not happen, we are still looking at passing the winning post first.
Vic, did not get e-mail. Please resend. Probably easier if you use 'reply' to my e-mail rather than retyping address!! Best of luck!
IF you are not elected and have time on your hands please read The Audit of War by Corelli Barnett. A very erudite analysis of the economics behind WW2.
Using official war archives, he observes Britain's weak industrial record; based upon weak management, coupled with low investment and innovation. Our finest hour???

I haven't room for a TV, and turned one down although I could have had it free, so I don't watch the news often, but read papers. I do not know about this plane-crash, but sincerely hope there are no casualties.
How Mr F and the pilot got out of that plane alive is incredible. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to both.

Thank you for that Sid,also today we had one of our candidates die so the election has stoped and there will be a by-election later on that is the law if a candidate dies on the election day the campaignfor all partys in that area must stop and a new election date give out.

bob
the overseas aid that gordon has pledged has been endorsed by david, as i am sure you knew.
Howard,
I have never thought that the Labour Party had a monopoly on stupidity any more than the poor a monopoly on bad taste.
