UKIP will Increase RAFcapability by buying more essential helicopters, transport aircraft and 50 extra JSF lightning aircraft.
UKIP will Restore historic regiments, such as the Highland regiments,which are being sub-sumed into planned European battle groups.
Strengthen our commitment to NATO, while withdrawing from all EUoperations.
Reappraise our operations in Afghanistan to create a single,clear and achievable mission or seek to negotiate a withdrawal with our NATO partners.
Maintain Britains independent nuclear deterrent with existing Trident supmarines and then replace them with four British-built submarines armed with US missiles.
Cut MOD bureaucraxcy, which has one civil servant for every two military personnel.
Introduce better pay, conditions ands medical care for the British Armed Forces personnel and their familes.

I was going to keep this blog open after the big day and work on it for the next year local Elections but this will now not happen,we will start a new one later in the year,I think we all need a rest ,We are still looking at winning on Thursday ,but please what ever party you support please go out and vote lets get a real good turn out in the whole of the Dover and Deal Parliamentary Constituency.UKIP now know we will not get around it all with only two days to go but we will keep going till Wedsday night,but if we do not get out to where you are ,we are sorry about that. I say that the towns and parish councils should take extra responsibilities with the appropriate funding.

- 5 May 2010 15:4350538Well that is it folks from us ,we have done our campaign now ,sorry to say if you have not got our leaflets by now you will not get one,we have used them all up again sorry about that,just hope the weather stays fine for geting out and voting,the UKIP post will close some time next week unless any of you keep adding to it,if I get in then we will look at it again.We feel at UKIP we are going to do very well and that is down to all the help I have had from the helpers I have had,and it is a very big thank you to all of you with out that help it just would not have got done.Please go out and vote for us in the morning we need all your votes it is about saving the UK and our great Dover Port.as I said before it is now over to you we can do no more.
