Marek and their parents paid for the education twice .You pay for state educatiobn through your taxes plus also for the private education .
Many people choose to pay and go with out I had to pay some of my sons schools fees but no holidays abroad for me and no car
You do get the wrong impression of people who attend fee paying schools .

John
Forgive me for breathing..but firstly I'll address the points you raised... 'you have got more than a week to answer'.The GE is not until May.
Secondly I am not a Lib/Dem but a solid Labour voter (even though recently I have felt betrayed ...as a left winger).
Thirdly I thought this thread was titled UKIP??..doh..So why can't I ask our local UKIP candidate questions?.
Vic wants to obtain our votes and get into parliament so he should be able to rattle off the answers without checking his parties literature. I am not having a dig at Vic but at UKIP's manifesto.
Marek
I think therefore I am (not a Tory supporter)

Marek, You can do that go ahead, just to say that you have put our votes does that mean you are going to be voting in the Current Parliamentary Constituency of Dover or where you are now?. Thank you. I am puting UKIP maanifesto on the forum so the public can see for themselfs that UKIP is no longer a one policy party, also that they can see what all our policys are.

UKIP fishing Policy.
UKIP deplores the decision to sigh over control of British fishing grounds-which contain nearly 70%of Europe,s fish-to the EU,sCommon Fisheries Policy(CfP).
The CFP has driven the British fishing industry and many fish species to the edge of extinction while non-EU nations such as Norway benefit from a healthy fishing industry.
UKIP will, Immediately withdraw from the Common Fisheries Policy.
Reassert our territorial rights, reclaim our fishing grounds, restore our fishing fleet and support our fishing industry for future generations.
Re turn £2.5 billion a year in fish sales to the UKeconomy.
Establish an"Exclusive Economic Zone"extending 200 nautical miles from the UK,s COASTLINE with total UK control
Abandon EUquotas and forbid the shameful discard of dead fish and sometimes that is up to 70%of catches.
Require all commercial species of fish caught, regardless of size or species, to be landed and recorded.
To preserve fish stocks,UKIP will establish a system of moveable "No Take Zones"allowing fish to spawn and assisting recovery in overfished areas.
UkIP would also BAN all frorms of industrial fishing and pair trawling FOR BASS.Industrial trawlers have helped cause a catastrophic decline in key fish species.
Strengthen the UK,s Fishery Protection resources to guard British Fishing Grounds.
You can download the full UKIP fishing policy from "Polices"www.ukip.org. Thank you.

sound good to me vic, something i feel strongly about.
we end up importing cod from other countries(hard to swallow) while we are surrounded by the seas that should supply us with cod, plaice, skate and all the other fish that we enjoy.
i have tasted pollack from canada, absolutely dire in my opinion.
"Establish an"Exclusive Economic Zone"extending 200 nautical miles from the UK,s COASTLINE with total UK control"
I think that may upset a few nations; Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Belgium, Holland, France and Spain. And what happens if they do the same, we go back to a Cod War again? That could be difficult to win as we no longer have a navy to speak of.

i was a bit doubtful about the 200 mile bit, all a bit involved, the territorial waters issue.
ed connell will know the full details.
i thought that UKIP were planning to enlarge the navy, i am sure it was in their manifesto.
i hope so, would be able to sort out the fisherpeople that blockade the french channnel ports, when i am stuck on a ferry with my cheap fags, trying to get home.

Yes They are Howard I have already said that .But next will come UKIP policy on Defence.
But it takes years to build a ship and we have no shipyards to do the work. So, does that mean we will stay in the CFP until we have a navy again?

Wrong Sid we still have the shipyards to do the work,it is not all about what you read in the papers, how do I know there are still shipyards because I have worked in them, and they are still there and making ships today and they are in the UK and even in England, you can download them and see for yourself.

Colin, you're getting worse.
Sid, we do still have some very good shipyards around the UK. Sadly, though, some very good names have gone, including Swan Hunter which is now just a ship designing company. Scandalous that the shipbuilding industry was allowed to decline in such a dramatic manner. It must Gordon Brown's fault, everything else is; except that José Mourinho is claiming that he's to blame for the erupting volcano. Bet the Prime Minister's relieved to be off the hook for that one!
True friends stab you in the front.

I think those of you considering UKIP should watch this video of an interview with Lord Pearson.
It is car crash telly. Danny Finkelstein describes it as the worse interview ever given by a party leader.
Truly embarrassing, the man is a joke.
http://www.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/5931508/the-worst-ever.thtmlI'd like to know two things then please:
1. Where is the oney coming from to build these ships (remember, Labour's legacy is a bankrupt country)?
2. What are the names of these shipyards?
Also, any chance of an answer to my question in #408 please?
Well, you would say that wouldn`t you Barry.
Unlike smarmy Dave & Co., Lord P. probably hasn`t spent hours in front of the mirror or media training because even though he`s a "Lord" he is in fact a very down to earth normal type of guy.
Lord Pearson set out at the beginning of this interview to point out that it was unlikely they (being part of the pro-EU media) would want to discuss the BIG issues on the programme - and he was proven right.
Nor was he going to be drawn into discussion about trivia regarding police wardens when they tried to do precisely that - talk of trivia!
He made mincemeat of Sopel who looked like a fish floundering out of water when Sopel couldn't get him off the big topics. Lord P. made some very pertinent points to begin with too.
It is time someone stood up to these journalists who are being paid to support the evil EU regime. The BBC has been receiving money to support EEC / EU views for years by pushing EU propaganda. In fact they`ve received well over £150,000,000 from the EU in "soft" loans and they don`t get that unless they "comply"!
UKIP get very little air time as it is and when we don`t play their game they don't like it. We can`t afford to get sidetracked on trivia. As you well know, UKIP aren`t allowed the media exposure that your bunch get so we have to make the most of any chance we get to comment on REAL issues.
And as for Danny Finkelstein, well, I wouldn`t have expected any other type of comment from him anyway.
