howard, just because a few people shout, screem and wave placards make illeagle.futher more has the government passed a bill sayint it to be,no it hasn't.
footnote,it takes an act of parliament to make things illeagle.and not protesters.

Let's here it now for Baa-baa-ra
the bravest of the brave
let us bleat forth a full hoorah
for the ewe that ruled the wave
From upland fell to dingley dell
tales of her derring-do are told
from early morn to even's nell
her name runs around the fold
'twas she, they say, that led the way
and took ovine-kind abroad
down the ages till this day
we, high praise to she accord
As captain of the good ship Baa
she crossed the seven seas
from Dover down to Zanzibaa
from there on the first breeze
She traded from suq onto baazaa
from Baarbaados, Baahamma
Baarain to the coast of Canbaara
and married herself to a proud Llama...
...or so the story goes
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

kieth, reread #142,untill government acts along with Brussels it will keep going on.if it stops sheep farmers will suffer along with the government [taxs],so in short the government will turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to it all.having said that if the protesters moved to London and brussles government buildings and shout and screem louder government[s] might here them.

Some photos of Joline berthing in Dover this morning:
Stooging about off St.Margarets prior to entering. Most recent cliff falls in background.
Passing through Eastern Entrance.
The view of this tiny piece of flotsam from our Bridge.
Passing us.
Approaching berth ED5.
Shaun the Sheep emblem on the funnels. Cheeky blighters.
In the pads.
So small that she can only access the lower ramp, with most of the fingers up on either side.

You'd think that two fingers would have been enough.

Tony and Gordon and their respective mobs did nothing either the politicians are all as bad as each other, this evil trade could have been stopped years ago if either party had had the will or should that be the guts to do so.

You know if we all listen to KeithS "Charlie" can change anything ........anything at all! Why bring politics into this anyway? I'm sure that most, if not all, people hate the way animals are transported on Joline, no matter what party they belong to.
Brian talks a lot of sense, as does Jan. If Keith were to read AND digest what they have written he would see they make sense. Why not stop using every subject brought up on the forum as another excuse to vent your obvious dislike of anything not labour and try to look at the subject in a non political way - just a suggestion.
(cue the inevitable "everyone's entitled to a view")

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Jacqui
You are correct everyone has a right to aview(even me and you)
I'm sorry that you don't like me being critical of your charlie, but it is a fact that the Govt(to which charlie is part) are the ones that can change things. nowt political in that.
If you bothered to read my posts i also stated in agreement with Jan that Labour is no better on animal welfare
