good that should cost money that can be passed onto the exporters hopefully with a bit of padding will make the trade unviable.

Yes and it's DHB stopping the RSPCA inspections because there are no holding pens and they don't want poo on the docks.

my understanding was this was going to be a weekly event but the initial shipments was 4 weeks ago.

Some odd stuff going on - saw a truck constructed for the transportation of calves for the veal pens of mainland Europe heading down to the Eastern docks yesterday.
