If that's referring to Keef I'm sure he knows it by heart with all his experience
Main aim of putting the link up was so critics
with the facts would know for sure if there was anything to criticise.

Gets even more confused with a planning committee town councillor on social media saying that the future of the pier and our access to it is secure!!

Yet again Mr Matcham trying to shut down any views that aren't his own.
This is a discussion forum where people can express different views, even ones different to your own.

Still no nearer to finding out who voted yes or no to the demolition. Cllr Ben Glayzer claims to have voted against but he is not on the planning committee!! By general consensus Bill Gardner voted against which leaves the Tory members with their former chum Andrew Richardson and Labour returner Simon( I have spent the reserves) Bannister voting for the application.

DHB must have signed up Dr Goebbels on a temporary contract, "temporary closure of the pier" indeed!!

Bar one I thought all of us knew this would happen if planning was granted, that was why we were so against the proposal.

No sign of the historic pier furniture in the new pictures.

They never said they would put them back, besides the artist impression makes the imaginary new pier look very narrow. I would imagine if anglers were fishing either side it would be a case of single file for walkers.

To me, the artist's impression looks more like a walkway to the platform at the end, and not really a traditional seaside pier.

Putting them back was a planning condition attached to the consent for their removal, together with the provision of a detailed schedule of works regarding the heritage items.

Is there any time scale for that though? If not DHB can always say we will get around to it eventually although the drawing of the planned pier says it all about their intentions.
