until the rules change we all have to abide by them otherwise anarchy would ensue.

I do sit on planning at Town Level, town level objections were that a portacabin is not a safe and secure place to store drugs etc. plans cannot be passed just like that, some plans you see come in from some people, are the rooms are to small some not big enough to swing a cat, developers trying to cram as many places into one building they can

The danger of speeding up applications is that local people would get even less of a say in the areas that they live/work/play

i have heard three main responses to it brian.
a) that is the mother of all portacabins.
b) that is a portacabin and a half.
c) what the **** is that?
the last utterance came from a young gentleman who stopped in his tracks this morning to see what i was taking a picture of.

It ought to be closed down, definately sticking two fingers up to the authorities, yet another thing this doctor is getting his own way about, no planning permission, nothing, i'm beginning to wonder if it is worth applying for planning permission, and paying out dosh for them to be passed or not, when clearly this doctor is saying there isn't a need, do it and you'll get away with it,

Have just written to the sun, asking if they could take up the story, I am not the only one that is frustrated, last week wrote to council and phoned, was told they would look into it and get back to me,, still waiting for them to get back, as soon as this portacabin was put in place the authorites should have pounced on it and had it removed, instead of letting it get to this

Keith #94 going by the hostile reception some of our councillors have had on here lately I am not surprised they are not posting at the moment. I thought Sheila Amos (who has posted most eloquently on this subject) was a councillor or does she not count any more.
