Whoops. Sorry. I meant to say I once found a few pounds sterling down the back of my sofa. Easy mistake.

Re 160: ah yes, for all their bullish noises, even DHB saw the Fixed Link as a major threat - and a catastrophic one were it to go bust. We live and learn, I guess, and few at the time would've foreseen the impact of the completion of the Single Market. And then there's the thought that privatisation might blow away the cobwebs. Oops, bad Button, what am I saying, no-one likes the sound of that!

Well, you have to laugh. So glad I jumped ship from the ferries to the tunnel when you were advocating DHB reforms!

#166........Finally being used?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
As a storage Marina................. then, shunting and grunting........
The Wellington Docks / Basin is being dredged and tidied or whatever...
Boats coming out of the Granville Docks..............into Wellington and Storage Marina.
Then abracadabra...............the next legalised act of vandalism...
The infilling of the Granville Docks...to give us...oh yes....another Concrete Plateau....
No more Granville Docks................buried forever..............

Lovely in the sun at Clocktower Square this afternoon and busy, especially at Breakwater brewery and the new Pedaller cafe in the Clocktower. Good to see.

Well, so far as I can make out, the original Community Directors, having each served two stints, were replaced by Stuart Jaenicke and (by August 2022) Heather Jones. I think this is right, though I didn't spot their names in the 2022 CSR report and I can't find the 2022 Annual Report and Accounts on the revised PoD website (of which I'm not a fan).
