He will stay out of politics and probably become a highly paid consultant in some form or another.
He made enemies of the wrong people, I bet there are quite a few walking the Westminster corridors who hope their dirty little secrets of all kinds stay behind firmly closed doors.

Anyone would be a better, more honest, more possessing of a backbone than our current obsequious MP. As for 'groper' Elphicke himself, I once watched him tell a neighbour of mine to 'f**k off' with his cohorts of hangers on in tow. Oh how quickly the snivelling Collor rushed round to apologise on his master's behalf. 'He's under so much pressure, you know' Utterly pathetic example of the worst of local politics.
And he wasn't just a flirt. He was a predatory creep who lied to his wife and his electorate and caused a lot unhappiness for those who he should have been supporting. But he's a Tory and can do no wrong in some people's eyes.

Let's hope he disappears in to the obscurity that he deserves

Still can’t believe that some people simply regard him as a “flirt” - so wrong!

And for those who blindly sit on the other political fence one might even say ' he's a Tory and can do no right in some people's eyes." I say he was a randy idiot who got caught and dealt with, maybe time to move on and forget about him locally.

'Political fences' are only erected by those with an urge to try to find some way of mitigating the sad situation that Dover finds itself in politically. That's blindness.

The interesting question is do the local Conservative Association have the balls to tell Natalie that 'fair enough' the Elphicks played a brilliant game to leave 'our' Natalie as the only candidate but,as the Who sang, 'won't get fooled again'?
There's loads of potential Conservative candidates nationally who would make much better candidates locally.
Ideally 'our' Natalie should have been taken into a dark room with a bottle of whiskey and a gun and told that the metaphorical gun is full of blanks and that she should enjoy the whiskey and that her next employers (usual thing, non executive directors etc Try Harbour Board? Will get an excellent reference)

The Dover seat is for the Tories for some time
I would hope they locally would not be silly enough to put up a predator at the next election .
But who knows how silly politics is at the mo

I don’t know Mr Elphicke personally but the term ‘predator ‘ was the one used by the judge as I recall.

Perhaps he would prefer 'naughty Tory'. Oh no, sorry. His politics are nothing to do with it.

I think Sue
The judge used those words
I realise you come from the same party Sue , but rather surprised you defend him.
