'Oh — yes! Let them all in. Such a shame they can't afford to live here. We'd love them, obviously. But if they have to live in Middlesbrough, then so be it. I'm sure they'll integrate wonderfully and end up being cardiovascular surgeons and so on, and improve the ghastly town no end.'

Why would they disappear if they were genuine asylum seekers?

There is no answer yet, the police have only been given permission to dismantle the camp they haven't done so yet they are suggesting it will be done over several weeks!

I believe that there have been some problems with the fitting out of the new accommodation. There have been complaints about lack of charging facilities for IPhones + low broadband speed both of which are required under European Human Rights legislation.

Always funny to see celebrities come unstuck whilst trying to portray themselves as ordinary people concerned about the less fortunate.
The situation on demolition is a confused one where the French are saying it won't be a forced one!!

The situation seems to change on a daily basis, today residents are being given one hour's notice to vacate the premises.

Some disturbing footage on Sky News this morning of the trouble the lorry drivers receive from the migrants, those migrants do their cause no good at all.
It is not any refugee's or migrant's right to expect entrance to this or any other country, it is the country's generosity that allows them in.
No country really wants a bunch of thugs like those on that news footage.

Fully agree Jan nobody can just pick and choose which country they wish to live in, especially those who see violence against innocent people as perfectly acceptable in order to get their own way

Bit of old news there and Lord Mantelpiece doesn't get a mention although he blew the lid off it about 3 years ago. Everyone knew about the Kosovo con trick, I don't remember the exact figures but at one stage there were many more "Kosovans" claiming asylum in Western Europe than the entire population of Kosovo - work that one out. Every Eastern European villain on the run from the authorities couldn't believe their luck.

This is very different to what we have been reading up until now, migrants now claiming asylum in France or returning to their countries of origin. The bit about British anarchists causing most of the violence will come as no surprise to many of us.
