I think I'll start a group called Demonstrators Leave Dover Alone.

I'll join.
It doesn't help that some of our own councillors jump on the bandwagon and add to the problem.

Just to get some things straight, Diane had not come down specially for the demonstration. She was already booked to appear at Folkestone Weightwatchers tonight.

So she's just adding her weight to the Dover protests.

We now have 70, 000 refugees trying to enter Turkey an the EU is urging the potential hosts to take them. Every wide boy in that country will be either chartering unseaworthy vessels or selling substandard life jackets to the unfortunates.

Increase Your Wordpower.
1. Nov 2015. Turkey and European leaders have struck a deal to try to control the flow of migrants to Europe.Turkey will receive €3bn (£2.1bn) and political concessions in return for clamping down on its borders.
2. Feb 2016. Officials in the EU have urged Turkey to let in tens of thousands of Syrian refugees trapped on its border at Kilis after fleeing fighting.
3. 'cognitive dissonance' the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioural decisions and attitude change.

The EU seem to be a spent force with little interest in anything other than collecting money and dishing it out in a way that they see fit. They know what they want countries to do with the people coming in aiming for Germany and Sweden but claim what happens in the Nord Pas de Calais has nothing to do with them.

What happens in Calais IS nothing to do with EU. France has allowed punters to enter their sovereign territory one way or another. (Even pre-Schengen the length of land border makes France porous hence necessity for ID/Carte de Residence etc). They have now a group of 3000+ persons of unknown identity, nationality, status camped near Channel Ports. They have more than adequate powers to detain and process each and every one of them.
Unfortunately French are crap at two things.
1. Making an executive decision.
2. Defending Paris.

Dave is getting desperate now and suggesting that an "out" vote would move the "jungle" to our coastline. Trying to picture the scene with our Border officials saying "No douments? no probs mate we have an area set aside for you to make squalid we call it the "Alkham Valley".

Inability to defend one's country once may be regarded as a misfortune; to do it twice looks like carelessness.

Don't remember 90% + of the country either actively or tacitly collaborating with the Fenians though?

As Max Hastings writes - we would have done no better:-

Their 'liberators' behaved little better than the occupying Germans.

Go easy Captain. You may be safe in your opinion that Liar Cameron is lying as usual.
I understand that the only one of Dover and Deal Tories who believes Cameron is Charlie Elphicke. But again Charlie has a career to save instead of his country.
