even better this morning with the fencing/railing gone, hardly any tourists in market square but stacks in town - st mary's was open to visitors which was proving very popular.

The Babble Of The Fountain
Lucky me, I live in Dover
and here I work and play
its a field of four-leaf clover
and its here I want to stay
The babble of the fountain
drowns my every care and woe
by the babble of the fountain
I sit and feel my troubles go
We here welcome bustle
from tourists on a cruise
here to see the castle
and our many other views
The babble of the fountain
drowns my every care and woe
by the babble of the fountain
I sit and feel my troubles go
When the slanting evening Sunlight
floods the busy market square
when my day is done, I might
arrange to meet some people there
The babble of the fountain
drowns my every care and woe
by the babble of the fountain
I sit and feel my troubles go
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

your poem must have struck a chord tom, almost immediately forum member john sheridan in his alias as j and m plumbing arrived on the scene and is currently working on it with a colleague.

we are monitoring the situation john, the only thing we don't know is what you will be having for dinner when you get home.

your sacrifice has not gone unnoticed john, pity that the dover heroes awards have already been doled out for this year.
