22:1639287Keith i will just do that when the time is right, but what you must also remember that there are 1000s even more than that that do not get a pension at all with their jobs I was just one of them it is very hard today to find a job which comes with any pension let alone one that goes up each year. If you have a penison, but as we are talking about pay and not pension just to let you know men are now working for less this year per hour than last year just to keep hold of their jobs and some companys will be doing the same this year and will not be paying out a pay rise at all.

the point victor is making is that the public sector are getting a better deal than those that work in the private sector.
is this right?

08:5539298The public sector pensions need to be reformed. A stop to future accruals into a final salary scheme, freezing all accruals at the present point, adjusted only for future inflation, with future pension accrual to be from Money Purchase pensions to which almost all of the rest of us are now limited.

19:2640426I can not name them but I am geting alot of help from members with the next Gen/Election so again thank you very much for that.Again we are now ready and soon we will be out and about.
At this time I am looking at a cutout of Mr Paul Watkins, and Mr Gwyn Prosser, and ,Mr Hook This is the 2005 Election.
In the picture it has Mr Watkins saying"Lets Privatise Dover it,s more than Labour can offer vote Conservative."
Then it has Mr Prosser saying"let,s not Privatise Dover its another Tory Trick! vote Labour."
Then on the end we have Mr Hood saying"Im a Nice Guy vote for me.
I would just like to point out to you all that Mr B Goldfield D,H,B, chief executive was saying a BIG NO to the port privatisation,he can not say he did not say that because at this very time I am looking at it in black and white.
It goes on to say that Independent Vic Matcham may be a factor but only in a very tight finish.
That was in 2005,now in 2009 we see Mr Watkins gone, and Mr Hook gone, but I am still there but this time in U.K.I.P. but still saying the same as in 2005 "Avery big No to the privatisation of our port.
But it is the blues now saying the same as me,and Labour saying that the port must be sold off.
But Mr Prosser is in nomans land at this time half is still saying NO and the party half saying Yes.
So we at U.K.I.P are just the same.A VERY BIG NO.
Just to add to this last time Mr Watkins got the then shadow environment minister Mr Tim Yeo to come to Dover to announce his party,s intention to privatise the port as a policy commitment.
Let me tell you they are the same today as then and are not telling us the real truth,if they get in next time take it from me within two years they also will sell the port off,at this time just to get votes they are hiding this till later. Vic matcham

21:3840440Personally think those UKIP policies are tosh, but, they are public now thanks to Vic. Not so the witterings of a dying governement or the pretenders to the throne and the boys in yellow.
Great documentary on tv tonight, Andrew Marr talking about the Thatcher years. What happy days when our nation was proud and being run by those elected instead of a bunch of union boys with hidden agendas. Love her or hate her (there is no middle ground) we must accept that we are stronger as a nation because of her tenure in No.10. It wasn't all good admittedly, but there was no spin, double dealing or lying as we have seen in the last decade. heart on the sleeve politics from the great lady. If only we could find another like her.
Today someone even said to me how awful the NUS strike was and blamed the outcome on dear Maggie. My reply, "Yep, she brought an end to onboard bullying and rape of female staff, an end to fraudulent onboard working practices and an end to all male staff on the tills. I can understand why the seaMEN went on strike. Just so typical that a lady would be wanting to change those working practices". There was silence thereafter.
