- 2 May 2012 20:58170051Thanks very much to all. Barry, from memory these were taken on on old Nikon D70 with Nikon 300mm prime and Sigma 50-500 lenses. To reduce the reflection on a couple of them I attached a circular polarizing filter.

- 7 May 2012 20:05170971We have just visited the Bluebell Woodland, five minutes from our house, here are some pictures. At its very best right now.
If you visit woodlands, keep to path and do not tread on the bluebells, and do not drop litter etc !! (And do not pick the wild flowers)
Bluebells are a sign of an ancient woodland and they are fast disappearing.

Ray, How gorgeous are they! Thank you, I love to see how the little chicks are doing We were in Coldred on Sunday, just driving through as we were dropping Daughter Briony off at Eythorne. Never been there before but we stopped when PaulB spotted the Duckhouse and all talk turned to politics 
funny that! Never been there before, it is a lovely picturesque village, so not surprised it has won best village awards. Also spotted a dovecote and saw a beautiful white dove flying over the village pond.
We had been to lunch at The Lydden Bell, the food was splendid - 8 May 2012 19:16171122So very beautiful. Lovely pics on here. It has cheered me up to scroll through them!
