 - There are no saving graces for paedophiles, to abuse children is inexcusable whether it be a low life hanging around parks or a multi millionaire they both deserve the revulsion of society. - Audere est facere.

 - It appears the wealthy and influential are `untouchable` until their dead..................

A chief Inspector reported the allegations to his superiors ...four decades ago...and nothing happened.........

 - There seems to have been a conspiracy of silence regarding Jimmy Saville from all sides with so many knowing or with strong suspicions but saying nothing.

Those people who kept quiet should be ashamed of themselves because they allowed the abuse to continue, in theory I would like them to be named and shamed but what good would that do now.

 - I'm sure the responsibility goes fairly high up on several trees, so much so that the first order of business will be, how best to exonerate from the top down.
Much time has past...culprit deceased...lessons learned...could never happen again...compensation paid (where it was not asked for)...and now for a whoopsy-do celebration of the onset of the first world war!

Should the emphasis shift from the late knight much smalls-soilage would ensue.

It is more likely that 'the culture' will get the blame...and so it will be the public's fault again.

It is to be hoped that along with the hair-wrenching and the gnashing of teeth there is also a sense of relief that these things are (at last) seeing the light of day, and that the memories of a happy marriage remain for child-protection-campaigner, Esther Rantzen.

 - I have just read such a headline elsewhere, no doubt ambulance-chasers are behind this move. A needless distraction that can only help to hide the truth.
 A bad move.

 - Many people were aware of Saville`s abuse of children but attention is being focused on the BBC

 and the Police cover-up`s.

BBC Director General is under pressure to suspend Peter Rippon Newsnight Editor for

cancelling the programme that would have exposed Saville.

More information and details of Savilles predatory abuse of many children is being made public on

 a daily basis.

His duties as a hospital porter exposed him to many children suffering different illnesses.

The Department of Health could face being sued.....Saville`s duties at Broadmoor came with

 bedroom and key`s..........

 - I know times have changed in that J S's kind of behaviour is now discussed openly but I still fail to completely understand the conspiracy of silence that allowed him to get away with all that sexual abuse of the young. Surely papers like the defunct News Of The World would have delighted in printing the story. - -----------------------------------------------------------------------

 - The sad thing is so much police time will be wasted on a man that cannot be punished

When these officers could be intercepting offenders that are doing it now

 - The effort that may be being expended KB, is for the past, present and future victims of assaults of the nature perpetrated by this dead man and many others who are still at it. -
There is a lesson in this for everybody, a lesson that is both wide and deep, a very old lesson that remains unlearned.

 - It certainly goes on... -
"The Children of Iraq, Killed and Maimed Twice
 -
Dirk Adriaensens writes for Global Research (September 29th): The BRussells Tribunal, supported by more than 200 NGO's, submitted solid evidence of extreme violence against the children of Iraq by US occupation forces, during the 19th session on the General Assembly on the 8th of March 2012. -
There are five million Iraqi orphans, many live on the streets without family, all subjected to violence. There has been a 30 percent drug addiction increase among children to ease the pain and sufferings inflicted by the occupation.
 -
Other violence issues to be studied by the UN: a case of about 800 girls under the age of 18, disappeared in the first seven years after the war. Up to 65 % among the prostituted females are minors. Some are victims of torture in case of gang- rape. Children of prostitutes are sold or raped by paedophile customers. The highest demand is for girls as young as 11. They have been trafficked into neighbouring countries. "

 - Rather, Howard. It goes from 'bad' to off.
When all is said and done the abuse of the living is always worse than anything that can happen to a corpse.
