Do Members have an opinion on the Employers who encourage folk from overseas to come and work in this area (and UK in general) ?
Should equal measures not be taken against them?
Or is the fact they are old Kent families who own and operate the Farms absolve them from opprobrium?

Howard,I see Martin P and Tom have started to turn on you, over your good work on the forum..Please do not listen to these members of the misguided minority....Posts#16 and 18 are fine examples of the Guardianistas' fury at being outwitted and outnumbered on the Dover Forum.

i don't really have any allegiance to a particular party peter so it is easy for me to look objectively at the political posts.
martin makes the point of ukip members dominance but their have been complaints made against red and blue supporters taking control here over the years.
for every ukip poster i see another party supporter railing against.

Rest assured Howard I am not turning on you, just trying to give my understanding of what Tom said, I do however believe that UKIP have targetted this forum and are dominating it as they are entitled to do if they are the most active viewpoint.

You make a good point Howard, in the past I have read comments that either the reds or the blues are too dominant.
At one point there was a very long running thread called UKIP (I think) where the varying party supporters waffled away at each other.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

didn't think you were martin it's just that ukip are entitled as any political party to promote their cause on here.
in the past we have had people from all poltical parties come on then take umbrage and leave because someone disagreed with them.

I don't think there is any political bias on the forum either. There are a few UKIP supporters who post quite a bit, as they have every right to do, but it seems the other parties are not so much supported as posted against by their opponents, which may make it seem that UKIP are taking over. Nice to see a party that engenders such support, if they were a little more polite they might even gain more support.

Over the last 40 years we have seen some of the nastiest scheming money grabbing dangerous lying politicians ever, all responsible for the mess in this country
They all have one thing in common they all come over as nice educated and respectable
Ukip should remain on page, say it as it is ,good bad and the ugly no bull s.....
Barrie you're a narcissistic political activist blowing like a fart in the wind all over the place.
The British people don't need nice; they need honesty and politician that put British people first.
You will spew lot of insults at me over your key board using your false name
Like all the other coward scuttling from under there stones on this site.
I say it as I see it, on the net or to your face.

Keith B. How can I reply to a reasoned argument like that ?
Your massive intellect shines from the page like a glorious beacon, and we mere mortals can only sit back in wonder at the beauty demonstrated in your knowledge and use of the English language.
You are truly a great ambassador for the UKIP party, and with you on side they can hardly fail.
By the way, why would you imagine I'm using a false name, and why would I need to. You're not getting a bit paranoid about things are you Keith B., because you're starting to sound a bit like a Daily Express 'ranter'.
No offense of course, just my opinion...

i would have edited/deleted keith's post for obvious reasons barrie, but i didn't see it until 3 hours after it was posted during which time you had responded.
i don't know how many people had seen it but we only got 1 post report ironically at the same time as i saw it.

I'll stop posting for a while and let things calm down, no need to consider editing or deleting for my sake, but some of the more sensitive souls might have been offended. See you all in a week or so...
