that is exactly what paul wants, hence the light touch in editing.
he has said many times that the forum membership is trusted to regulate itself in the main.
once threats of legal action are seen here it puts off people posting because they are worried that they may be sued over a slip of the tongue.
one of the few things i am good at is spotting what is actionable and deleting it.

No worries for me then Howard, I use my fingers on the keyboard, not my tongue. I strongly recommend other posters do the same. From a risk analysis point of view (pandering to Bern here of course), there is less chance of electrocution too.

Another note for Alexander...
Alexander you need to be just that bit more careful. As you know you have been in hot water several times with several people with regard to outrageous comments. Just hold back and think some more before posting at these delicate times. The financial services industry is very heavily regulated and BarryW is very careful not to overstep the bounds on the legalities which is fair enough and perfectly understandable. He clearly would not be in a position to recommend financial dealings for any individual in general terms on an open forum.
So we must be careful, we dont want to land anyone in hot water...either BarryW, yourself or indeed Doverforum.
