Back on Wednesday but only for freight, I wonder how busy P&O will be once the lorry backlog has cleared.
Why no foot passengers or cars now the ship S o B has passed inspection, could it be there are limitations on the number of people it can carry for safety reasons.

People will still use them all the time they are offering such very low rates, but they can’t sustain that for long. They will collapse eventually.

"A
gigantic P&O boat operating between Larne and Cairnryan has become adrift in the Irish Sea after a 'mechanical issue'." Daily Mail bigging it up? Mind you, the Causeway has form for incidents:

Will anyone feel confident it is really safe to use their ferries, from the BBC link when the 'problem' started at 13.30...........
They were told at about 13:45 the problem would be resolved in about 10 minutes.
"By about 14:15 we were still there, so that was about an hour.
"They said initially it was an issue with engines. After that, about 14:15 they said they couldn't restore power, that they had called the coastguard," he explained.......

With all the money P&O have lost since the sackings and the resulting continued justified bad publicity I wonder if the management regret their illegal actions, even though I doubt they would ever publicly admit it.
