Going on from Ross's posting I can reveal that the old Delmains shop will be a hairdressers.
Further up, in London Road, Turner's is having a facelift and this has revealed the original sign from what was Harry Turner's shop. The current owners, Terry and Shirley Slater, have decided to leave it in situ and simply put their new sign over the top. Well done!

I went inside Mascarada today and the costumes and layout are really stunning, the grand opening is on Friday late afternoon, 6.00pm I think.

I forgot to mention yet another hairdressers, the Vanilla Rooms, although Yam did feature it in the DE yesterday. Unfortunately the entrance is less than inviting.

I noticed the following had the lights on and an open sign today, so yet another new shop/business.
Kavernal Media what it is or does I have no idea, nearly forgot it is at the carpark end of the Charlton Centre where the shoe repairers were.

i am fairly certain that it is a dutch company that will be opening there, i remember vaguely that it was something to do with trucks.
whether it is repairing, building or operating them maybe someone else can fill in?
