From the Ratzkins Facebook page.
The Ratzkins are so happy to be playing on the same bill as this little firecracker Toyah and her band (Chris Wong, Andy Doble, Tim Rose and John Humphrey) on Sunday 27th at the Cruise Terminal. Free Entry, donations to Kelly Turner.

Didn't she do well.
From the Kelly Turner Fundraising FB page
"Woohoo! Kelly's passed all ten GCSE'S! We're very proud parents. She got an A in Science, with an A* in her coursework, and an A in Religious Studies. She's really happy about the A in Science, as she would like to train to be a Radiographer, after doing her A Levels. (Biology, English Literature, Textiles and Art)"

Not a moan but I am surprised there is still no news about her trip to America, I thought it was supposed to be after her exams were finished.

From Kelly Turner Fundraising
"Kelly had a full body scan yesterday, at the Royal Marsden in Sutton. She had PET/CT and MRI scans. Hopefully we should be getting the results from the Royal Marsden in the coming week, so we'll let everyone know as soon as we know. It's a tense time, but we just try to live a normal life as much as we can - forever positive, and praying for healing for Kelly. Thank you everyone for continuing to support our little cherub, who we love so much!
Kelly's got a rotten cold, which is proving difficult to shake off. She's been told not to take her chemo tablets for a few days, as her ALT blood readings are a bit high. (Apparently her Pazopanib chemo tablets can do that. ALT is released from the Liver) She's grateful for a little break from her tablets as they make her feel nauseous. The Pazopanib also give Kelly daily diarrhoea, which is pretty awful for her. Emotionally Kelly is on a bit of a roller-coaster of emotions as you can imagine, feeling positive one minute, scared the next, but we put our hope in Jesus. Kelly is a Christian too.
Kelly will be having her Hickman Line taken out soon at the William Harvey Hospital. The nurses are not able to take weekly blood tests from the line due to blockages, so Kelly is having is having weekly peripheral blood tests with a needle. The Hickman Line is 2 years old now anyway.
Hoping for good news this week. We'll let you know. #doingitforkelly Linda T"

Such sad news, a battle fought but sadly lost. RIP
"Our best little friend, soulmate, bright, intelligent and beautiful Kelly sadly passed away at 02:45 Monday 6th November. Thank you for supporting fundraising to save her life, In particular thank you DOVER for your love. Upshot is that there is NO Chemotherapy for Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumours.
Research to discover Chemotherapy for DSRCT is imperative."

So sorry - everyone put up a terrific fight.
May her star shine brightly.
I am sure the money raised by so many will be put to excellent use.
Her legacy and bravery will carry on.
RIP Kelly.

Such a sad, sad day. Never actually knew Kelly but felt as though we did what with the fund raising activities and news updates etc.
A brave girl now at peace and hope that somehow, sometime, her family who must be devastated can find the strength to carry on together with the the love and support of their friends.
Truly terrible news.
