#237 Keith , quite logical really.
It will probably invalidate his insurance cover and certainly cause major problems when he comes to sell the property/business because he can't produce a valid planning permission with usual building control consents.
Any solicitor worth his salt will advise not to proceed with purchase until issues of regularity are addressed.
Short term expediency has long term & costly consequences.
These comments are not addressed specifically to this planning matter but are generalised observations.

Why is no one moaning about the other issues of gun jumping in this town? Why is this Dr being singled out? He is doing his bit to enhance the area, his project is at least functioning on one side and work in progress on the other.
Is the issue the new building next door, or is the issue the temporary portakabin which we all know will not be dealt with until there is a decision? If the planners are smart, sensible and pragmatic they will approve the new building 1st, then the issue of the cabin goes away.
Nice to see you posting again Paul!

With my stirring hat on

, because some of the more vocal members of the forum live in the area and use the road a lot.
Apart from the dreaded DITZ area where would you like us to launch the next attack.

when travellers set up a site on the langdon cliffs the uproar was just the same from those who use the cliffs.

Simon, I've never stopped posting, just pick what I respond to & when time allows.
Posting on some things are just counter productive as you will appreciate. Can't stand the circular stuff.
Congratulations to you & ALL the team on the success of the Market.

Simon
you could do just the same as posters have in the priory area
the application is in this area and so thas reason why
But in the wider scheme of things if its being done anywhere its not correct, but cant take on the world(or whole district)

Mention has been made of Cab4One jumping the gun also. Their signage has now come down and a notice reads "Due to reasons beyond our control we are re-locating our premises".
It doesn't say where to though.

I noticed the signage, but not the notice.
I also see that there is a green illuminated cross on the temporary pharmacy. Something less for Sheila to worry about

could never see the point of dean having an office, just a call to his home or mobile number would have the same result.

Don't think the number of items on a script has much to do with individual drs. Some stuff I take that I had enough for 2 months has now been cut to 28 days due to a pct prescribing policy. A policy I have been unable to find on the web site.
I wonder then if all drs are beginning to prescribe differently? It will only be money of course..... A dictation from higher up

I would not have thought a portacabin would ever be the most secure building in which to store drugs., I always thought dangerous drugs had to be stored in a secure place.
