A good example earlier, one would have to go out in front of the fast moving Folkestone Road traffic to get by.

Similar to the one above in Priory St, the door was open and resting against the Golden Lion. I asked him to close the door but he just stared back and done nothing so we all had to walk out into the traffic to get past. The 68 bus that I caught got stuck halfway down Clarendon Place again.

Confirmation of the new routing for the 68 bus from Wednesday week.
Dear Cllr Cowan,
The Traffic Regulation Order will be sealed on Thursday, and come into operation on Wednesday 29th July. I will be placing the order for the lines this week, and will ask that they be done as a matter of priority.
Kind regards,
Richard

Update.
Dear Cllr Cowan,
I have been informed that all going well, the lines in Belgrave Road and Westbury Crescent should be done by the end of Thursday, assuming that there is no rain and that people do not move the cones and park where they shouldn't!
Kind regards,
Richard.

'Oh dear, I am sorry, I just squeezed past you car and your door mirror seems to have fallen off'. Hopefully the best part of £100 to repair you arrogant sod. Or words to similar effect.

Normally the problem is in Malvern Rd or Clarendon Place, this morning in Belgrave Rd.

I do wish people wouldn't do this so close to a busy junction.

That is just bad and selfish parking, I bet the driver would have a right old rant if someone scratched it trying to get past.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

This thread keeps disappearing and coming back again, I think it is the third thread it has happened to in recent times.

How long is it before a foreign registered vehicle in the country has to change to GB plates and pay road tax?

The green Astra convertable pictured was for sale on Gumtree a few weeks back for around £275.It was parked on Belgrave then.I think the car on the other side of the road,a black Focus minus its wheels and on bricks is still there.

The owner of the Astra lives in those newish flats at the bottom of Belgrave Road, He is either Latvian or Lithuanian.

It's not just Dover where cars seem to get abandoned. There's a UK registered car in Sandgate High Street that looks as though it's been there a while; at least one flat tyre.
