Osborne's growth strategy 'chaotic'
GEORGE OSBORNE will come under renewed attack over his growth strategy this week,
with one leading economist describing the Treasury's investment plans as "chaotic".
The influential London School of Economics Growth Commission will call for a new approach
to investment in Britain's energy and transport networks. Government plans, it says, are beset
by "procrastination and instability".
The criticism comes ahead of what is likely to be a damning report from the Commons public
accounts committee into the government's national infrastructure plan, which was launched in
2010 to oversee projects worth more than £300bn.
A recent National Audit Office report found "real risks to value for money" under the plan
because of policy uncertainty and failure to assess the costs to consumers.

Osborne clearly does not have the confidence of any economist.

British public loses faith in Coalition's austerity plan as voters run out of patience with Plan A
More people support Ed Miliband's 'time for a change' message than the Conservatives' likely
pitch at the next general election
A majority of the public believes the Government's economic plan has failed and that it will be
"time for a change" in 2015, according to a ComRes survey
In a boost for Labour, more people support Ed Miliband's "time for a change" message than
the Conservatives' likely pitch at the next general election - that they should be allowed to
"finish the job" of reviving Britain's economic fortunes.
This is expected to be the crucial battle between the two biggest parties at the 2015 election.
The finding that "time for change" trumps "let us finish the job" will raise Labour spirits, although
other surveys show it trailing the Conservatives on economic credibility and that is still blamed
by many voters for causing the deficit during its 13 years in power.
According to ComRes, 58 per cent of people agree that the Government's economic plan has failed
and so it will be time for a change of government in 2015,

..........."More people support Ed Miliband's 'time for a change' message"
Muwhaahahahahaha. Are You serious?
Didn't you listen to what cannot even be described as a car crash interview on the World at one yesterday?
More like a space shuttle disaster interview.
The man is a clown. A public school educated, career politician who has never held a proper job millionaire.
And You talk about the elite greedy pig Tories?
Erm, excuse Me but what makes this big shot champagne socialist any different to an Eton educated politico?
Ah of course - why his red rosette.
If He was socially inept without the debating skills needed to lead his party and had no clue how to run an economy die-hard labour supporters would still vote for Him.............Oh! wait.

Wikipedia is your friend Howard. Ok, ok so He didn't go to private school - I was getting myself confused with some of the other champagne socialist millionaires who make up the upper echelons of the labour party. A trifling mistake in the grand scheme of things. At least my mistakes cost nobody any money unlike the policies enacted by Milliband , say, the climate change act.
But that's a different story.
Please give me a little more credit for using hackneyed expressions off my own back. When I heard the interview I heard myself using that expression under my breath or are you suggesting that all expressions belong to Barry if they have been used on Barrys' blog?

Spot on Philip, labour have pinned the rosette on the wrong donkey.
His job has been easy up to now, as soon as Miliband is pressed he flounders, of course that matters not to the triballists, he's labour and thats all counts. But at a time the country is crying out for an alternative we get this clown.

Reg, the only time I come out is the, sadly, rare occasion when I come out of the pub at closing time.
I've no time whatsoever for any of the three man parties. I'm definitely even less time for the extremist groups who put themselves up for election.
What this local election will teach us is that many people feel the same as I do and will vote for UKIP merely to express their frustration with these clowns who have no idea how to run a cold let alone a country.
Our economy is in imminent danger of going bust.
One major reason for this is our energy policy which insists on us being the only nation on the planet decarbonising in order to stop the weather being hot, cold or just doing something.
I'm not the only one:

All this talk of elite pigs and whatever is just nonsense which fails to address the real problem We face which is no growth and no energy.
Buy a generator is my advice.
Oh! and just in case You missed it here's something else that tends to wind Me up:
