I was at a meeting at DDC yesterday and a senior Manager told me that he hadnt got his allocation.Nor have some of the staff at DTC. over 20,000 tickets were applied for.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

Still waiting for ours.
Ticketmaster website says that you should contact them if you haven't received the tickets within 5 days of the event.

I've got better things to do than watch someone walk along the street with a glorified sherbet fountain with a flame on top but whatever floats your boat. To those who do venture out I suggest you stand very still and clap obediently like school children lest the same happens to you as happened to this guy

Gotta love that small villagey community spirit inspired by the olympic dream.
Edit: I had to remove one of the videos as there were some rather "spirited" remarks which might offend some in the comments section.

This Olympic Torch event is the biggest event to hit Dover for many years. It is a great day for Dover and many people will be visiting Dover for the first time even if they don't live far away.
I hope that everyone whether they have tickets for the seafront stage show or not, wlll make the most of the day and evening.
We should be shouting Hurrah for Dover - the spectacle of the ship, the relay around the Town and Castle and then on the seafront and rounded off by the biggest firework display we've ever had - a magnificent day and evening for us all.

Dover looking clean and tidy for the Olympic Torch event. Lets hope we can keep it, not just do it for one day. Come on DDC this has put Dover back on the map, so don't go and ruin it.

I haven't received my tickets yet Sue. I phoned Ticketmaster yesterday and they said there would be a Ticketmaster booth on the seafront on the day to collect any tickets that haven't arrived.

Thanks Linda, that's really useful information. I was going to contact them tomorrow but I won't bother now.
