I wish those who for no medical reason refuse the jab realise just how selfish they are.
There are thousands who are in need of life saving or life improvement medical treatment. Cancer, liver, kidney, heart and joint replacement patients etc who are dying and unable to have a hospital bed because the beds are already occupied.
I know this will never happen but I wish the NHS could refuse to treat those covid ignorant and self centered people in favour of those who through no fault of their own also need life saving help. Watching Hospital on BBC2 the other day made me realise just how desperate the waiting list and bed situation has become.

Fixed it for you, JH:
I wish those who for no medical reason refuse the jab realise just how selfish they are. They must be, as government ministers, media megaphones and SAGE behavioural psychologists repeatedly broadcast that this is so.
There are thousands who are in need of life-saving or life-improving medical treatment who are dying and unable to have a hospital bed because the beds are already occupied. And this has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that for the last 17 months the NHS has been disproportionately given over to treating one illness to the detriment of anyone suffering any other serious health problem.
I know this will never happen but I wish the NHS could refuse to treat those who disagree with my sanctimonious opinions.

Yet again the very slightly increased virus numbers hit the headlines together with the over the top reporting.
The media are obsessed with their bad news coverage of this subject, it reminds me of the way they covered Aids and HIV all those sad years ago, another condition which thank goodness is now treatable.

The main difference between AIDS and COVID-19 is that people at risk of the former due to their behaviour have become more risk-aware over the years and changed their habits. So far with COVID this has not happened, to judge by the number of at-risk people happily walking around with no form of protection.
