i will admit i do moan but with good reason, barryw speaks on maggie the saviour
but the same woman lost many people there homes, i nearly lost mine
so no, i wont ever forgive her.
i will say for the last time unions like empoyers like the workforce all have a role to play if we want to see everyone prosper.
going down the road of confrontation as barryw suggests will help no one
in fact it will make matters worse.

09:1986149Brian - I could say exactly the same to you.
Keith - Mrs T did not nearly lose you your home, take personal responsibility for yourself and stop trying to blame others. I suspect your problem was in/around 1990/1991 and as a result of a failed experiment with European Monetary Union. Something Mrs T fought against and lost. John Major is the villain if you must have someone to blame (supported in this policy by Labour and the Unions among others), but, as I said, take responsibility for yourself. The Conservatives have moved on and will not commit us to new European Monetary Union, now called the Euro - sadly Labour have not changed their stance and despite experience still will not rule it out.

09:4186155Keith - You have not denied it was the 1990/1 period, if so I have provided you with the details of the right person to blame if you must blame other people..... Its a bit sad going through life holding such a grudge and a damb sight sadder for that grudge to be aimed at the wrong person.

Even when I try and put it in simple terms, you still react in your impulsive blinkered way.
I did NOT say I wanted to destroy the banks or utility companies, I said I wanted them to be Fair.

10:2386165Keith - keep to the issues, You still have not denied the period in which it happened but if it keeps you happy to live with a delusion then so be it.
Gary - It was a direct interpretation of your comments. Fair - is a relative term that is open to interpretation. It would not be sensible to adopt one interpretation of fairness that drives a whole economic sector abroad.

13:2286175looking at the telegraph "exposures" today, i thought to myself this is all tittle tattle.
the commons must be like any large institution full with personality clashes, just that the yellows seem to have the motormouths that will say anything to anybody without finding out who they are first.
it has been said that the telegraph intensely dislikes the coalition government and is trying to drive a wedge in.
i have no idea who would benefit from that.

17:0886224I was out at my Xmas party last night, one of the lads out with us was Bill, ex-police commander, active on the picket lines in notts, rank Tory, wealthy with property abroad, hates Labour. It was one of the best night's we've had, he talked I listened, I talked he listened, I have not seen him for a while so we had lots to talk about. We didn't agree on much but it was great to have a reasoned conversation and we both definitely learned something from our chat. He is a good friend of mine and has my respect. We do not have to be hostile or enemies just because we don't think the same, I know plenty of blues, who I like and respect and get on with.
Merry Xmas to you all.
