  FFS? What are we going to do about base load? How will we store the energy for when the wind doesn't blow? Is there anyone in Government with a Science background? Are we all going to end up paying Elon Musk for the latter day equivalent of a Leclanche cell in our back garden?

  They are everywhere, there are bus stops plonked out in the middle of the road with bike landes behind them - all good in a way - but what if you are in a wheelchair, how do you get to the bus stop? Not particularly safe.
  
  Closing road, removing access for cars also not particularly accessible for many.
  
  This is blowy AF hilly Uk, not flat holland we are in.

Could you please tell me where this cycle route is? I ride a bike in town and have yet to find one anywhere. On the Maison Dieu Road stretch.....that route is extremely dangerous for cyclists, to put it mildly, and I agree with most. Sack whoever it was who came up with the idea.

  The footpath outside Morrisons was widened to be allow for cyclists, there's a path alongside Morrisons car park, Dour Street should be safe enough for any cyclist, over Ladywell the path continues all the way through Pencester to Stembrook. Then after a little stretch of road alongside the Market Square, through the underpass to the seafront.
  
  Also from Frith Road for the adventurous, there's side streets - Salisbury Road, Harold Street, Park Avenue, Leyburne Road, etc

  Saw this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54841528 and thought of you! Liquid air, apparently. Never heard of it myself but maybe the, no doubt world-beating, 50MW facility near Manchester is part of the government's plan to level the Midlands.
