Clair has advertised for a Organiser for the coming general election campaign. The salary is in the region of £25,000 .
The funding for the job will be coming from Labour/GMB .I understand it is on a intial 3 months contract .
The terms and conditions not known. Applications must be in place within the next 2 weeks.
I have applied LOL.
I wonder if Keith Sansum or Wayne Elliott would be interested.? Vic and Howard, would you be interested?

I am not a red but a true UKIP man who cannot take part in the Election. You do not need a Organiser just members who are willing to give up their free time to get out there.

Wayne won't be available as Charlie chains him to a post when he is not out canvassing.

I have doubts about it now. Is it a zero hour contract? Will Clairs'Mum be happy about someone else taking on her role.Possible frictions.?
Looks like Howard and Vic may not be interested. Howard said that Wayne may be detained elsewhere.
How about Bob Frost? He may have time on his hands soon.

We were told a while back that head office and unions were cutting Clair adrift as the seat was no longer winnable, now we have a "decent wedge" being made available for her campaign.

All you need is good members out there in the town centres and streets in their free time.I have been asked many times to stand again but I would not win I might stop some one from a party . But I do not have the funds again to stand paid for it once all out of my own pocket and last time my committee helped out alot with the funding.I have asked my family ,they have the funds but I have been told before its a no.But if you put the funds in place then I would think about it.As for parish council again or higher its a no I have given in my best shot and it did not work I have no more lift to give.Yes I have been asked but it is a no.I am more then happy with what I am doing now.

Brian.I applied.Waiting to hear. Wish me luck.
Howard. The lack of the funding story is dubious. The last two years,Clair has been plugging away mainly without Labour councillor's support. The coming months you will be tripping over Eddy,Cowan and councillor wanabes with leaflets supplied by Clairs' sponsor GMB.

The calling of names like post 450 again does not go down in the public eyes ,why do it?just because they are not thinking the same way as yourself is not a good reason to be called names. And it will come back at you one day,

Vic. I am a Wannabe. I am never disrespectful to someone who wants to stand up for democracy and represents their community. I am sometimes disrespectful to opposition parties. My posts on this thread are without malice.I suggest you google the word, Wannabe.

There is no need to be disrespectful you can put points of view over without any of it.

An urban dictionary definition of a wannabe - "one who aspires, often vainly, to emulate another's success or attain eminence in some area."
Nothing disrespectful in that, unless it reminds you of your own failings.

Matter of opinion Vic, I believe she would be an excellent MP and work tirelessly for the area.

She can do that as a cllr then next time round go for it again but all the tables show a outright win for the blues. What is not helping the reds at this time is their leader as I have said many times before his brother would have done a better job as leader and he was also liked by the public

Just passed the reds group up at a knights way. They are the only ones you see out and about. But they are also going to where the reds are strong anyway, it is place,s like Maxon ,even River where they must get the voters away from the blues or UKIP .

The reds do canvass Maxton on a regular basis but I don't think they will bother too much with River.
