All you have to do is read the above posts to find out why I will never vote again with members of partys talking the way they do about each other .

Vic, forget the parties and their hangers-on and do as I do - get to know all the candidates face to face and vote for the one whose ideas you agree with and whom you think is sincere.
For some reason Labour seem to think that the Tories and UKIP are planning to privatise the NHS, whereas it was a Labour government that brought many areas of the NHS to their knees by building hospitals using PFI contracts. Now they are peddling this lie far and wide and it seems to be gaining traction.
Now Labour have a lot of good ideas, and if they could package them in such a way that they were attractive to voters and wouldn't bankrupt the country (a big if) then they might deserve another go. But an election campaign based on lies does not deserve a vote.

The NHS has always been a political football. As already said parts were privatised by the reds around 2000 but privatisation does not necessarily mean that it will not be free at the point of use. I have had £6000's worth of treatment this summer without paying a penny.

Mr Garstin in Dover we do not have the best of any party so for me it is a no vote.

Up to you, Vic, but then you have no right to moan if you don't like the result.

But he will.
Regarding the NHS, unfortunately like so many organisations public and private they are top heavy with management.

David failed because he refused to put himself in the pocket of the unions.

The other brother would have been much more effective than Ed, mind you I think I would be more effective than Ed.
The fact he had risen to Foreign Secretary spoke volumes about the direction he was heading.

Had to laugh to myself at the pictures posted above. One show Clair with climate loon talking about asthma and presumably how global warming is causing our children to fall prey to the condition. As I said the man's a loon of the first water.
The other thing that made me chuckle was the picture of gullible members of the public putting their name to one of the pointless petitions that are supposed to make them feel in touch with what goes on in the world and give them that good feeling inside that they have managed to, erm, do something.
Eh?
Well the point of this latest signup is, apparently, the fact that the NHS is not safe in the hands of the Tories.
Au contraire much of the blame for the parlous state of this organisation can be placed at the door of past labour governments. NHS hospitals owe £80bn in PFI loan unitary charges.
The modern PFI is the child of John Major's Conservative government, but it was adopted and thrived under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. Between 1997 and 2008, 90 per cent of all hospital construction funding was under PFI agreements, which paid for 75 per cent of all hospitals built.
That's weird cos as I'm writing this I'm listening to Foxnews talk and they're playing Mr. Sandman.
Life doesn't get much better.
