Just one simple question - what do these people have to offer in order to make life in the UK any better?

The only thing missing from that graphic which I can only assume was created by a sixth former at the London Oratory is putting the blame on Cameron for the pole shift on our sun.

Maybe Vic will join the Reds in an advisory capacity.
The questions must be asked though, why are we in this state ? The problems we are facing, were/are so severe, they cannot be cleared in just 3 or 4 years, so there will always be references as to why we are where we are.
Those figues on whatever subject would be much much worse if Labour get back in; we'd end up like Greece or Spain, or worse.

we were told all would be sorted by 2015, looks more likely to be 2020 if not later.

I do so hope you are wrong Keith. The appalling idea of labour being re-elected come 2015 is too much for any sane person to bear. All they will do is hasten the national decline to a point where life as we know it today will cease.
Too depressing to think that an army of ex-middle management local goverenment employees turned MPs can do so much damage to a country. You only have to look at the calibre of serving and prospective parliamentarians in the labour party to see how much experience they have in the world of business.
Sure their expertise generally lies in making certain areas carbon and nuclear free zones and setting up bring and buy sales for the local party but when it comes to the real world..............
They're the cobbled together ones. They are the closets whatever that means.

philip fails to mention that most candidates of all parties today have no real world experience whether it be a public school upbringing or going straight from university into an academic or public sector job.
i can only think of two leading politicos that come from a humble background - alan johnson for the reds who if he chose to not retire and led the reds into the election would give his party an overall majority and david davies/davis for the blues who would lose any chance his party had.
not his fault after one dave the country doesn't want any more.

you're right there keith, a good example is newbie peter wallace who has been holding surgeries and knocking on doors in order to listen to people.
i know also he had a summit with the new head of waste last week over street cleaning in maxton.

I had a coffee with him prior to xmas
he stated he wanted to build on gaining the seat, and show people hes around all the year round, not just at election time

All Councillors are available all year round; surely people don't need to be reminded of that - do they ?
I'm contacted by all sorts of people for all sorts of problems, all sorts of times and days.

the difference is when someone reaches out rather than waits for the electorate to contact.

Out of all the reds activists in the Dover tribe, are any of them NOT on the public sector payroll ?
or pensioners, or doing jobs supported by EU cash .
