Trouble is neither country wants them Brian, something has to give and Western Europe is under a lot of pressure to take more.

What and cut off Erdogan's supply lines to ISIS?
You know the one he and his cronies have used to allow radicals and supplies into Syria in return for oil from ISIS held areas of Iraq

A bit worrying that the authorities know nothing about these people, possible criminal records etc.

Rather worrying that so many unaccompanied children are living in these conditions, surely the ones that have relatives here can be fast tracked into the UK?

Aware of that Brian been going on for a while now but ones that have relatives here can simply move in with them if there is sufficient proof.

The MP's seemed to have mostly followed party lines despite the issue being a humanitarian one. Charlie believes that a) The children already in Europe are safe and b) Taking them in would encourage more to make the perilous journey playing into the hands of the people traffickers.

Who would be an MP, someone is always going to disagree and this a particularly difficult issue as children are involved. My own view is that the 100 or so children in France that have relatives here should be allowed in but any more and it will just give more encouragement for people to risk their lives using traffickers.
