 - If Labour could shake off the loony left and its union paymasters and become a proper social democratic party it would be a formidable power in politics. A Phoenix exercise would seem logical. - I'm an optimist. But I'm an optimist who takes my raincoat - Harold Wilson

 - I think Kinnock is correct in describing Corbyn as vain in not stepping down despite having little support from his fellow MP's I think he would actually prefer to keep the party in opposition so he can keep his holier than thou stance. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jul/08/neil-kinnock-labour-vote-against-jeremy-corbyn-eu

The problem was that to move to Europe I would need variously a job contract, health insurance, proof of accommodation and a carte de residence.
 -
To move to the UK from the EU all one needs is something purporting to be an EU travel document.
 -
The Treaty of Rome was about movement of labour, not unskilled chancers.

 - The reality is the membership is out of step with the parliamentary party .eventually the biggest will win after D selection.
Wining over the working class majority voter is another thing.
I don’t see this happening with the present party stuck in denial over the immigration elephant in the room

 - Looks like Corbyn will survive after all I can only think that the party will now split into two. Problem is there doesn't seem to be a natural leader, the most qualified don't want the role.

 - Getting confusing now as the NEC has decided that people have to be members for 6 months to be eligible to vote they then say that the £3 brigade will have to re-register and pay the full £25 to vote.

 - Owen Smith has join the leadership race and is trying to woo Corbyn's young supporters by promising them a second Referendum. Considering the earliest he could be Prime Minister is 2020 rather a pointless offer.

 - The Nec have closed another loophole to stop infiltrators who cottoned on to the fact that they could register with various unions and socialist societies for a few quid and get a vote but now it transpires that they will still have to be members for 6 months.
