They're moving on from a simple 'Free Palestine'. It's getting interesting.

What's of some interest in all of this is that the view of Labour seems to be more important than that of the government. In other words, most have already priced in a Labour election win.

You think any of this changes the election outlook?

George Galloway has confirmed he will start building Rochdale's first underground system soon.

Neil
I do think Labour will win the general election , but looking at Rochdale could see Labour losing seats they expect to win , reducing the majority
Allowing some strange parties to get a foothold into the commons .
Don't think there has been an election like this before where people don't want the present Govt
But the also have little faith in Labour !!
Apathy seems the order of The day

'Allowing some strange parties to get a foothold into the commons...'
Why does this worry you, KS? I thought you were tired of the old two-step.
Also, if 'strange parties' arrive in the HoC, then it wouldn't be 'apathy' that delivered them, would it?
Unless you've extended the definition of 'apathy' to include 'an electoral circumstance in which someone I disapprove of is elected'.
Fortunately for us, Wittgenstein confirmed there is no such thing as a private language.

Yes, there will be the odd seat that goes to an independent, or the Workers Party, or whoever. It won't do much damage to the majority, and even then, such people/parties would be more likely to work with Labor in terms of Commons majority anyway. More interesting than Galloway was the local independent candidate who came a very good second at about two weeks' notice.

Stop Press. US (Kamala Harris) has just called for an "immediate ceasefire". Watch now how both Tories and Labour, having done summersaults to avoid that phrase all rush to join.

Apathy strikes again: despite the banner of 'It's time for real change' on
https://dover-labour.org, the site appears to have been comatose since April last year.

I do agree Neil
But your leader has got himself bogged down with expulsions\suspensions .
Not good that your leader has taken so long to come to a decision on ceasefire which will probably again show his weakness
Hopefully we will soon see some difference between the present govt , and your lot Neil

I think, NM, you'll find that is 'fake news'. Harris actually called for a 6-week pause, and then only if Hamas meet Israel's terms. So, basically, a drawing of breath before the next round of bombs and biscuits.
Although you are right, of course, that our sovereign leaders and 'opposition' will parrot whatever comes out of the WH.
If the US really wanted an end, it would stop supplying ordnance. Simple.

Not so, B. Remember, the position is 'Labour wins by default'.
Thus, 'doing nothing' is in fact actively campaigning.

Yes, I've since seen the six-week caveat.
