Canterbury will be tricky and potentially rely on some form a tactical voting. With a significantly young population, the Tories will always face challenges there of course - but may sneak through as Paul suggests if Lib Dems and Greens hoover up Labour votes.

In no fan of right wing Duffield and glad she could lose her standing .
But Neil ,where is the party going?
If right wing people like her are not allowed on this right wing Labour party , things are looking grim .

I am both tickled and disturbed by just how successful this 'right wing Labour Party' psyop has been, and how it continues to derange the the observations of supposedly shrewd political commenters.

Ironically, I think Labour has moved on from this debate - or at least learnt not to engage with it. The Tories endlessly try and get Labour folk to "define a women" but Labour largely ignore it now. So much so that it is the Tories looking obsessed with the issue, not the other way around.

As I say, if this right wing MP is to be excluded by Starmer where is the party at?.
I think Neil you have missed the point here.?
This is not the Tories obsession over trans issues , this is Labour decision to stop her going on the panel for selection .
Starmer decision, nothing to do with Tories !
Come on Neil

As Neil's leader continues to silence or expel anyone who speaks against him within his party, we wonder Neil , what hope does the working person fighting to survive have for the future?

Sorry if I wasn't clear - she should be on the panel for selection. She's the sitting MP. She's the only Labour MP elected in Kent. Must be doing something right.

But it's your leader Neil and he's not going to let her stand!!!!!!
She's not alone As you know , across the country this has happened
Starmer now praising Maggie!!!!!
Just pointing out usually Starmer has expelled any one disagreeing, but now even right wing Duffield has fallen foul .
Your party Neil
This is the party you want people to get behind!

So Neil
As one of only a few posters brave enough to still support Labour , are they really fit for purpose?
Starmer has spent the past few years expelling any one who doesn't share his view, and even the likes of right wing Duffield as you say as Kents only MP, but I think he's in the wrong mindset .
If he can do this sort of thing before getting into number ten, what damage could he do if he got in?
Those like you Neil who want to leave everything to chance , is a dangerous way to allow someone such freedoms .
He certainly hasn't listened the past few years , carrying on with expulsions across the country .

KS, who is this 'right wing Duffield'? Do you repeatedly use this qualification to distinguish her from some 'left wing Duffield', or from some other Duffield that we should worry about?

I had a conservative paper put in the door, sorry to say a lot on it was not true ,like saying the small boats coming over is 20% down on last year, and the blues are saying that was down to them. That is not true it was the weather that done that not anything the blues done, not one small boat was turned back or one refugee send back to France. Why do the politicians tell what is not true? none of the public in Dover are taken in by this. I think they would do better by telling the truth . and in that leaflet to they are saying that the Dover MP done a lot of work and the changes like the new hospital and high speed train ,and all the new builds was done by her, this is just not true ,most was done or planned out years before she got in power, and they also say that she was voted in the Dover public again not true it was done by the party.I could go on and on. But all this will not help her or her party stay in power next year. Just glad I am out of it all now and do not vote all the partys at this time are painted with the same brush.
