Unfortunately Keith it is merely turning into a centre or left election!
That silly woman has guaranteed 0.7% of GDP to continue going on foreign aid (sic).
I'll bet it was doubles and trebles all round with every BMW salesman in sub-Saharan Africa when that news got out.

Correct Keith, I have indeed.
I would suggest that anyone who like me, has been voting since 1970 (for Tom King at the first election 18 yr olds could vote in) and has been voting for the same party, wants their tiny little head looking at, both Labour and Conservative having at various times got themselves into a position where only a fool would wish them to continue to hold power.

I shall stick where I am thanks Keith. Fortunately, even at this late hour, my party is managing to catch up with a few of my 'modest proposals'. The alternative choices are (just now) too dreadful to contemplate!

Oh dear. Not a good look. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the man again.

I am feeling a bit sorry for jezza.
I think he planned to reorganise the labour party to out Blair’s liberal infiltrators, and jump just before 2020 election to let a groomed presentable front man to shine
But now he’s got to run with the hot poker.

If Thursday's results are a wipe out for Labour maybe he will resign and allow someone with a nice suit to stand?

How much longer can Jezza keep her in the front line?

I think Jezza has made a big mistake by pulling out of the televised debates because of Cruella ducking them. He complained during the Referendum campaign that the media were avoiding giving him fair coverage but the debates would have been a perfect opportunity to promote himself to the biggest possible audience without the press twisting his words. Tim Farron will use the debates as a way of presenting himself as the only credible opposition .

I think Jezza has now reached the stage of knowing he is a disaster electorally and for the sake of the country let alone the party he should step down and take McDonnell and Abbott with him. Party members may finally come to their senses and choose someone that voters find acceptable enough to vote for thus reducing the level of defeat in 5 weeks. It's not too late.

I think it IS too late. Ideally before the electorate votes for a Labour 'who' (or whom), it would be nice for them to have a coherent Labour 'what' on the menu. Besides, one has to believe in the constituency candidate also, at least to some degree, and I suspect that, in a lot of places, feeling comfortable with him or her is also going to take time.
